01Batch controller, scale, dispatch: Per site, the monitored set is small and named: the batch controller or plant PLC, the scale or weighbridge system, and the dispatch and ticketing link. Baselines are simple because the traffic is simple, so a new talker is an obvious event rather than a needle in a haystack.
02Busiest sites first, small sensors where warranted: The highest-volume batch plants and the primary quarry get a small site sensor. Lower-volume sites are covered by monitoring the vendor remote-access paths and the dispatch link centrally, and are added to full monitoring as volume or incidents justify.
03Alerts in plant language, to someone who can act: A batch plant has a plant manager and a loader operator, not a SOC. Alerts go to Potenza's triage and to the named plant contact, phrased as which system, what changed, and what to do first.
