Sensors sit at the processing plant and major remote facilities, observing mirror-port traffic and holding their own baselines and event history. When the backhaul drops, detection continues and the record is intact when the link returns.

Bandwidth-frugal by design
Satellite and microwave links are shared with production and are not cheap. Only events and summaries travel to the central view; full traffic never leaves the site. The link budget for monitoring is agreed in advance with the site.

Processing plant first, then the pit
Crushing, grinding, flotation, and thickening run continuously and concentrate the site's controllers. Monitoring starts there, extends to conveyors and pump stations, and reaches pit systems through the wireless infrastructure they already use.
